Katie Dragone is a Brooklyn based, San Francisco bred, director and playwright focused on new works and site specific productions. Her play Lines was extended twice during a sold out run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival (2025 Terence McNally Incubator Semi-Finalist, 2024 Theater_Theatre Award Nominee, 2024 SheNYCarts semi-finalist). She most recently wrote & directed Grammy at The RAT NYC, an interactive solo show about a wickedly funny grandma as she struggles to relinquish her role as caretaker. She is also currently developing: a play that takes place during a real-time concert about fantasy, creativity, and truth in art; and a satirical show about the dehumanization of customer service and how bureaucratic complexity can be actively evil. She graduated from Stanford University with a dual degree in Theatre & Performance Studies(Honors & Distinction) and Anthropology. She is currently the Associate Director of Fiscal Sponsorship at Producer Hub.
